The 25th Anniversary of the Air Jordan V is less than half a year away, and the Jordan Brand is probably experimenting with some new colorways to release alongside the OGs (Fire Red Vs already confirmed for Spring). This sample was intended for the Fall 2011 season (when the Black/Metallic V hit stores), but the Jumpman brand could potentially revisit this all-black get-up and the blacked-out tongue for 2013.

The colorway way of the sneakers below is a revised Chicago Bulls scheme and finishing off this sneaker is a grey interior. Nike Air Flightposite III 'Spiderman' Customs - Images

The last of the Air Flightposite series is the Nike Air Flightposite III, and it hasn't been seen for a long time. But, there was a rare sighting of this sneaker on the feet of Allan Houston during the 2012 All-Star Weekend. The Air Flightposite III is noted for one major design feature, and for the III it's clearly the alien-bug-eye pods on the upper that act as lockdown tiers for the upper strap and lower harness. The customs by Mache, were inspired by spiderman. He took a pristine pair of the Flightposite III and gave it a radioactive treatment by coloring it with reds and blues and adding the web-like graphic on the toe. Air Jordan XIII Autographed PE 'Bobby Simmons' - Available on eBay

Bobby Simmons made a comeback this season after spending some time in the NBA's training league and he brought with him a pair of Air Jordan XIII PEs. This player was rewarded with the Most Improved Player Award in 2005 but,  was unable to maintain that high level of play since he earned that reward. He ended up starting for the Clippers for one Playoff game this season, so hopefully he'll will have a nice comeback season later this year. Air Jordan IV 'Dr. Manhattan' Customs - Photos

The concept of this custom sneaker was derived from the movie 'Watchmen.' The inspiration behind this Air Jordan IV custom is obvious; he uses Dr. Manhattan's blue-ish tones for the upper with his 'atom' logo at the toe, with NYC-style graffiti and the infamous 'Who watches The Watchmen?" phrase on the tongue gives the shoe a unique touch.
